Crashing on a 720 Jump is Bad,Having some Idiot Run You Over is Worse
Aussie Clinton Moore learned the hard way what can happen with a
gnarly crash, after going horizontal on a 720 attempt and then watching
as a handler was unable to control his bike and ran over his broken body
as it lay in the dirt. (Fellow Australian Jacko Strong won the event.)The X Games are underway—you knew they were underway, right?—and last
night's competition in Los Angeles proved worth watching, as Ronnie
Renner and Matt Buyten waged a historic battle in the Step Up
competition (one finally won by Renner with a 47-foot high jump) and then a Best Trick final filled with as much controversy as it was landed tricks.

Surely it should be possible fit a large red button or similar to cut the the engine and gas to the bike, reduces confusion makes it easier to STOP the damn thing bit like race cars have

Most motorbikes have a bright red stop/engine cut button. Some of the drag bikes have throttle stops connected to the rider by a wire so if they fall of it turns off.
