  • Give these people what they deserve! Stop prescribing them these dangerous drugs that destroy their minds and bodies!

    • @killerz3000 If you suffer from chronic pain there is no alternative to drugs. If you don't get a medication, you will kill yourself because you can't bear the pain. Alas there is pain which can't be fully suppressed by drugs. So the accidental overdose in the present case might have been not as accidental as it seems.

    • @globetrotter79
The amount of opioids they put into these medications are way to high. They can reduce the amount and still have them be effective. Also they usually prescribe high amounts for people who have never taken these medications before. For a pain killer like the one mentioned they need to be put on lower dose and then slightly have the amount increased at a a slow pace. The way most doctors prescribe medications now a days is disgraceful.

    • @killerz3000 I don't agree. As a chronic pain patient (nerve damages by accident) I know what it means to get little or no treatment. These people should get what is necessary. They should be entitled to get any drug they want.

    • @globetrotter79 First of all they don't generally give oxy to people as the first thing they take and IF they do (which does happen) it's not 4 80's a day. An accidental overdose doesn't happen without taking more than your normal amount. This can be accidental or on purpose and frankly people can speculate all they want but in the end, people that overdose to suicide generally do it in my experience without other people knowing about it.

I'm also a chronic pain patient and have been on 4 80' More..

    • @Wankzilla I'm on prescribed Tramal and Gabapentin, but I try to take it at night only, because I have to drive around in the day. During daytime I help myself with a combination of 500mg Aspirin, 500mg Paracetamol and 250mg of Caffeine. This works quite well, because the sleeplessness caused by the pain is the main problem. My pain tolerance in the daytime is quite high, especially if I concentrate on my work. So I don't have to be sedated 24/7. Doctors should have special day/night prescriptio More..

  • Hope you truly find your son some day again! Must be the worst felling in the world, seeing your son dying, in pain, never more seeing him smile again...
