Jethro Tull - Velvet Green - Hippodrome, London - 1977.
Great song and I think 2:45 to 3:51 one of the best interludes in rock and roll history.

Like Steely Dan and a few others from this era, Jehtro Tull is a one of a kind musician, and will always be appreciated from us that grew up listening to there music. vtd

@NotTakingIt - Opinions do vary and music does cross all bounds, and seeing you have a liking for JT you may not be a total lost.

We agree! Awesome.
I saw this very tour. February 1977, San Diego Sports Arena. As you say, unique excellence. What a show. I don't think I've seen a light show quite like it.
What a great time for music. Tull, Crimson, Zappa, Yes, Gentle Giant. Ah, the memories.

extaordinary entertainer, saw him at the Philadelpia Spectrum in 1973 or 74. he did the whole Thick as a Brick album, plus some songs from Aqualung. he was quite fit back then and wearing leotards would stand on one leg in a ballet position playing the flute.

Saw Ian Anderson on his "Rubbing Elbows" tour in 2003 (at the Bass Performance Hall, Ft Worth, TX). He alternated between sitting on a couch and talking with the audience and playing music. It was like hanging out in his living room. A most excellent concert.
