Ancient way of life NOT THREATENED in Pakistan

A recent Al Jazeera video was titled 'Ancient way of life threatened in Pakistan', but this is completely false and propagandic.

The polytheists Kalash people enjoy their religious views as freely as they desire, and are welcomed to get educated in the cities of Pakistan (as many of them come to do). They have been living in Pakistan for 100s of years, if Islam was really a threat, then why does the Kalash culture still exist to this very day?

  • Pretty interesting piece on these Kalash. As far as them being threatened and being a 'Propaganda' piece, I highly doubt that is just that. The thought of burning in hell as the one guy put it... fear tactics. Nothing wrong with polytheist, to each their own.. not like they are killing, kidnapping, raping or robbing people in the name of their deities... just saying

  • As for the subtext, they are threatened because their number is small, and the outside world is starting to interfere by way of missionaries and interaction. The article isn't saying they are threatened by the state.

  • What use is their culture if they burn in hell, this should be the first rule that. Needs to be deleted outnofmthat book of hate.alowing others to live with their oun beliefs will allow more virgins for those in the heavenly jacuzzi .so why fight it?
