I don't think you guy's are looking at all the possibilities here!
Her mom says' everytime she goes to a game and does not catch a ball she cries all the way home. They also have pretty good seats if the players can just toss her a ball[maybe season tickets]. @ThePersuader Because its an american tradition. For the same reason we still have nasa and general motors. Something I wouldnt expect you to understand. Growing up throwing a baseball in your backyard with your father is the most cherishable child memory for an american family. The sport has roots, and nerds like you cant even reach high enough to taint it.

I was a pitcher for my little league team,played for 4 years before i moved to AFL.
I have played the sport...as fun as it was as a kid...boring as fuck as an adult.
