I Loved IL-2. Forgotten Battles was okay, but the "dynamic mission" builder was lame. They both suffered from a lack of any storyline, but IL-2 was a great game.
Took me a week just to fly the planes without crashing, let alone trying to shoot anyone down.

No other Combat flight sim compares, and to think this game was developed in the 20th century, and released in 2001.

Took me longer And to be honest rudder pedals or controls on the joystick make all the difference in a dogfight.
Yea no story line its a flight sim pure and simple and the best to date.

HAHA, I love it. All those people that think the Gov is spraying chem all over the world is retarded. Its just from the hot gas leaving the engines after combustion for thrust, entering the cold atmosphere. Also, IL 2 Sturmovik "birds of prey" will be released next month. Sick game you can download the demo on xbox live.
