CIA agent' was actually an analyst that worked in
an office. She was not in a covert status, so the
ensuing investigation determined that no crime had
been committed.
Regardless, the high ranking White House staff
member that released the info, was fired.
It was later discovered that she and her husband
had strong ties with the Democratic Party and
their primary goal was to discredit President
Bush.
No, the incident ended without an impeachable crime... sorry... keep digging. You
really should try to find something constructive
to do.

If what you said is true the CIA is remarkably silent about one of its agents outing themselves for fame or profit. I thought they had rules against that -- and that all material the former agent tells the public is vetted for permission, beforehand.

It wasn't Bush it was Asst. Secretary of State Richard Armitage, who admitted that he screwed up. It was an accident, because he thought the person he was telling already knew. So many people in the administration and all around Washington already knew, that she wasn't effectively "under cover" anyway. And none of this had to do with the "Niger yellow-cake" story, which itself wasn't produced by the Bush administration OR the CIA, but was a piece of blatant propaganda made up by British intelligence.

I did some research on the Plume Affair,BTW. There's a connection with her and Operation Condor I think might interest you. Or is it Operation Big Bird....either way, you know what I'm talking about.
