Since late November, farmers of the village of Reignac, located about sixty kilometers from Bordeaux, (Gironde) are faced with mysterious assassins cow skinners. Seven complaints were filed with the police. Seven as the seven animals that have been victims of these real "butchers", they were killed with a shotgun and animals were severely mutilated. The killers did not hesitate to take the best meat parts out of the dead bodies lying on the meadow, specially the beef tenderloins. Police is still investigating but Roma gangs coming from the near Bordeaux, or other nomadic people from Bulgaria and Romania making raid in the region, are supposed to be the authors of the killings.

There' a lot of food theft in France. Some butcher shops have been burglarized anc completely emptied including the meat locker. Butchers need to "beef up" their security like banks now.

I mean lets keep things in perspective here. this butchering for meat is probably done by starving people who need the food for their families. why else would they be butchering a cow for? is there such a lucrative demand for beef on the black market? of course not. not the same as robbing a bank or home invasion or murder et cetera et cetera. perhaps if there wasn't a stigma, a prejudice, against "gypsy" people then they could get a fair shot @ getting a job and becoming an active pro More..

It has always been my belief that people who torture animals are just practicing for when they turn to people. I therefore firmly believe that anyone caught torturing any animals should be set ablaze. I know that's would I would do to anyone who harmed an animal in front of me. A person burning up makes very similar sounds to an animal being mutilated while still alive. It's like a sonata to me.
