I saw the van and the little black car driving fast together. Then little black sees that the car ahead has it's brake lights on and hits his brakes a bit too hard (no abs). Then little black hits a bit of a puddle and hydroplanes and then everyone's playing pinball. The way I see it is: The van was driving (too fast) in one lane and the little guy was driving (too fast) in another lane. @Mark Burningham I'm pretty sure the car in front of the black little car isn't the problem. The way I see it was that the little car tried to change lanes, and didn't see the van coming up at crazy speeds, the van honks the horn and instantly scared the little car, caused him / her to slam to wheel to the right to avoid hitting into the van, then the little car lost control while doing so, and everyone know what happened afterwards

@the wedge: Look at the video - you can see the front of the small car (far right lane) beyond the hood of the van (near right lane) just as the van comes into view.
The van was gunning it to keep the guy on the right from passing in front of him...that's when the small car over-brakes & loses it.

easy to see what happened: the small dark car all the why to the right was about to merge in to the second from the right lane, when he/she realized the SUV was coming fast. Swerved back to the lane while hitting the brakes and the car hydro-planned, as it is evidence form the splashing pf water, thus loosing control. Thankfully, everybody looked ok at the end.
