After descending to Bertrand´s crater and ascending its North Summit (5188 masl),being alone in base camp, a big snow storm had me pinned in my tent for 3 days until, as scheduled, the border police came to fetch me. I had high winds and very low temperatures, the water container was always frozen in the morning. This high mountain desert zone got snow covered as seen. Beatigul landscape.
