  • The CIA is hated and feared throughout the Middle East, and every percieved lie is blamed on them. Unfortunately, in the Middle East, most words spoken officially are lies of one sort or another. Placing a huge target on this guy's back does nothing for anyone, since it may be total fabrication to begin with, anyway.

Of course. Many agencies were involved in pushing Karzai to the top, including the state department, since he was the only viable choice at the time after the post 9/11 American invasion, and destruction of the Taliban. The November elections in Afganistan give the people the choice to decide for themselves who is the best choice, him or somebody else - no CIA involvement needed.

most of these morons will never understand that most "news" agencies are more out for a story and adding fuel to a fire than using wisdom.

Very true. Hamid is a puppet, common knowledge.

I bet some of the CIA people that worked in the previous campaign in Afghanistan with the Mujahadeen are working on this one now.

  • Well, wasn't Karzia a Unocal executive? So the CIA and oil companies collude to overthrow a government and install their puppet leaders...

It's no wonder the Taliban and other groups have no trouble recruiting.

You'd think the American press would be more vigilant in snuffing out these types of situations. So much for the "liberal" media. I suspect that the same people sit on the Unocal board sit on the boards of the major media outlets.
