=== (Mashup) Ernest Borgnine Mashup July 10th, 2012
=================================================================
=================================================================
=================================================================
Note: Updated to reflect that this is the Ernest Borgnine mashup. I didn't want people to know what it was when I first posted it but now need to change the keywords for archival purposes.
Original Description:
This was a little rushed and very much spur of the moment and couldn't have captured anywhere near the breadth that I would have liked but hopefully some of you will enjoy it. I'm trying hard to improve the video quality while keeping the file quick loading. Let me know how it turns out for you.
Note: This is rated PG as it's a bit on the somber side.

RIP Ernest Borgnine. The shame of it is I remember him mostly from a second-rate television comedy called "McHale's Navy".

WOW!! Hadn't realized the quality of the competition when he won his Oscar. May have been James Dean & Sinatra's best film roles, and throw in Spencer Tracy?!? RIP
Great job, BP...

-Red (He was 92 years old when he did that!)
-Ice station zebra. (Bad accent, but still a badass)
-Escape from NY (When I saw that as a kid, for some reason I was heartbroken when cabbie got killed on the bridge. Why? I dunno.)
-Airwolf (I think Santini was an even more popular character with viewers than the protagonist Hawke)
-Dirty Dozen (Feigned being neutral but you just knew he was on the Dozen's side. How many actors could pull that off?)
-Red (When I first saw this I felt that the r More..

@BloodyPeasant
There is much to like about Ice station Zebra. For one if you liked movies involving submarines then the special effects in Zebra were pretty damn good for the day. Shot in super panavision. Granted the exterior shots were very obviously sets. But eh, who cares, think of it more as theater lol.
The movie was a little flat but was stacked with talent like Borgnine. If it hadn't been for Hudson, Borgnine, McGoohan et al then the movie would be worthless. They polished what was a More..
