If you want to vote to put Ron Paul in the White house in 2012, it's probably a good idea to vote in the primaries in June - here's some information on how, it is easy. You can, in most states, even vote absentee.
. The regulations vary state to state. Just google the "registrar of voters" in your state and it should tell you what to do, or at least give you another link. In many states, note the following, you MUST be registered as a Republican, to vote for Paul for the primaries!
There will be other people listed for the votes for lesser posts, you can vote for whoever you like, for them party does not matter. For the lesser posts, you can be registered as r, d, libertarian, or bozo the clown party and still cast a valid vote.
But to cast a vote for the primary Presidential election (Who will run against Obama) - in many states you must register as Republican!
It is easy, it is fast, and it is free! I made one phone call (your county probably has a person appointed "Registrar of voters" if you have questions) and if you can't print or find the form, they will mail them for free, return postage paid.
They only need your name and current address, and for you to tick the box "Republican". In many states, if you want to vote for Ron Paul in June for the primaries, you MUST tick the box.
