  • I miss that sound!

    With no wire strike kit or toilet bowl exhaust, it's missed a few of the mods the US Army put on it in the mid to late 70s. But considering the rest of what I see, it look to be a great example of a mid 60s H model Huey.

    That airframe teamed with dedicated, professional crews has done awesome things around the world and over many years!

    I have over 1500 flight hours as an Army crew chief on these and loved every bit of it. Thanks Smokey for the flashbacks!

  • ...though I would've smacked my pilot for flying aroud with the search light extended. Now I have to crawl under there and clean all the bug guts off the damn thing on my daily.
