Its fascinating when you think that the US now has friendly access to Cam Rahn Bay, China is still not well-liked in vietnam, & when US and Allied vets go back to Nam as tourist grandparents, theyre treated with universal respect and friendship wherever they go. Whole villages turn out alongside vets of the vc/nva to hug it out, eat bbq, swap souveniers and trash talk china. Far too many had to die to get us there, but here we are.
