I don't think they hit it and I don't think it crashed. It looked like it was going in for a low level rocket run. What seems to be implied as a hit from the sub human shaky cam operators is probably the result of the copters own gun, it dissipates immediately, a turbine full of holes is gonna smoke continually. My guess is that these fools were out of range and were wasting ammo as the gunship targeted their cousins.

I think this is old stuff, from the middle of last year maybe.
But it shows that Apache can be shot down with rudimentary weapons indeed.

I wouldn`t be so sure in your assessment. It could have been shot down. I think that this is connected with one incident in middle 2007. , near Latifiya, south of Baghdad.

exactly....what the fuck first they show the apache flying around. then it cuts to a whole different clip where the sky and surroundings have all changed. all i see at the end is either the same downed helicopter clip they always use for this kind of crappy propaganda, or just an explosion on the ground that they try to play off as a copter crashing...what a waste of time for everyone. stupid bastard hajis

whatever this is pure farce. Look at me shooting at an apache, and then look at this puff of smoke on the ground. See i shot down apache. fake. Half of the time the gun wasnt even at the right angle to be shooting at it anyways. Not to mention the simple fact that the apache was looking straight at them as they were "firing" lol fake. and a bad one at that. Just say Insurgents shooting at apache and showing that the americans are hog tied by bureaucrats and couldnt fire back.

They videotaped a man shooting a .50 caliber in the back of a truck. Then they showed a helicopter flying, then they showed smoke.
The point is they "made it look like" they shot something down.

It's like three clips spliced together. Just before the supposed crash, you can see smoke billowing from the ground already. I think this helo was actually strafing a target. Nothing appears to have been shot down in any of the videos spliced together.
