On another note, a trial is also wont to occur concerning the financing of his 2007 electoral campaign, most notably illegal fundings from Gadhafi and French billionaire Liliane Bettencourt. Another trial is awaiting for him to drop the presidential immunity to question him about possible retrocommissions made possible by him, as he was Minister of the Budget at the time.
