Something tells me the next generation of rockets and missles will have reflective mirrors in the front to deflect lasers.
@grenademasta that wont reflect heat
@nuntius_mortis It's a really powerful laser. I doubt a mirror would work. maybe some high purity material could but I'm not sure an average mirror would work against this.
@nuntius_mortis have you ever taken a big mirror outside? It reflects a lot of light and heat but the mirror gets super hot.
@grenademasta Or they try to take evasive movements.
can we get a smaller version to take down flies and mosquitoes ?
@sumwon you will be happy to know
@Revo Emag i soooooo want one for christmas :)
It's wasn't the laser that destroyed it but an actual supersonic cat. It turns out the stronger the laser the greater the attraction our feline friend have towards them.
Uh, wait. Wait. Okay, I got nuttin'.
Maybe Reagan's star wars idea can come together after all. For a long time, that looked impossible. This looked pretty good. I bet it can be perfected and put on satellites, above the atmosphere, would work perfect there.
@CatEatDog Actually atmosphere makes it so hard to point a laser, that "star wars" idea it's impossible (for now at least).
And reflective material can defeat lasers easy (Russians have experimented with them in the past).
But it's impressive...
