Japan is one of the top 5 economies in the world. If the US pulled its troops out, and Japan removed its restrictions on a standing military (put in place by the US after WW2), China would be fooked.
And I am all for it.
Bout time another nation put up its own meat instead of using ours to defend themselves in a modern world. Unlike the worthless European countries. At least Japan wants too, but the restrictions we put on them wont allow it.

The EU can never agree on anything. Considering them a "combined force" is a joke. The only "military" force the entire EU has to rely on is NATO.
And guess what percentage the US is in NATO.

@KutKorners It really could, it's all over the ability to fish in certain areas really despite what they may say. China and Japan have a huge hunger for seafood and rights to fish in waters rich in life will be fought for aggressively in most cases if they are competing with each other.
