From Sky News: "A friend of murdered biker Gerry Tobin reads out a statement on behalf of Gerry's girlfriend Rebecca Smith"
"Detectives hunting a gunman who murdered a Hell's Angel on the M40 fear the shooting may spark a biker gang war.
Detective Superintendent Ken Lawrence, said: "It would be foolish not to consider that there may be retaliation."
Investigators say they have received "significant information" about the killing.
They believe that at least two shots were fired at 35-year-old Gerry Tobin, although only one struck him.
Detective Superintendent Lawrence, told a news conference: "The response to our appeal for information ... has been extremely good."
Mr Tobin was gunned down near Junction 12 of the motorway on Sunday as he rode away from the Bulldog Bash bikers' festival.
Mr Lawrence said: "I don't think this was a plain and simple random attack. There must have been some precursor event.
"I am still of the opinion that Gerry was the intended target of this shooting, but we have yet to ascertain a motive and we would still like to speak to anyone who knew him."
But he added that police were still considering the possibility that Mr Tobin was attacked simply for being a Hell's Angel, as he was wearing club insignia when he was killed.
He also said he would be "astonished" if the killer had been another Hell's Angel, saying it would be contrary to the group's ethics.
Police are continuing to study CCTV footage from the motorway as well as photographs and video provided by members of public.
