@gregleb0ss Hate to break the bad news, but a corporation is legally bound to care about profits and profits only. So it's not only GM, but all corporations.
They are only inclined to care about the people only if it's in the best interest of their bottom line. So calling CEOs greedy is like calling lions killers, that's the nature of the beast.

@Americanalltheway I agree to. The only thing New Orleans has going for it is Mardi Gras. The country as a whole would have been better off had Katrina made it permanently unlivable. It's a lost cause anyways, below sea level, they should have abandoned it when they had a chance.

my father was born and raised in detroit. it must have been a gorgeous place to live in during the 50s from what i can see on the pictures. its sad to see the state of the city right now. however, michigan is still one the most beautifull places on earth. GO WINGS!!!

He said it all on the decline of Detroit. Outsourcing jobs- to robots, NAFTA. Jobs to Mexico, Brazil and anywhere else labor is cheaper than electricity. Call it political and corporate greed.
