Indeed, and a JDAM is not your $70,000 price tag, the 2000 LB dumb bomb costs from 200 to $600 depending on size, and some of these could be 30+ years old.
These kits could even be 10 years old by now, and atmost they cost $20,000. South Korea just signed contracts for improved JDAM kits at $10,000 a peice. If the US DoD ever pays attention to that shit they should get a new deal.
