Pierre Levegh's crash at Le Mans, 1955: 82 killed
Levegh's crash during the 1955, 24 hour Le Mans race was the worst accident in motor sport history, with 82 people killed, including Leveigh.
Most were killed by the engine which flew through an unprotected spectator area.

i forgot the term was only 'baptised' a the jewish one in the 60ies.
