  • Just to Add.- Police can come onto private property if they have reason to believe a crime may be taking place, is about to take place, or just took place on it.

It's called reasonable suspicion. (This means less than probable cause, but more than let's say a hunch.) The video takers are dead wrong on what is needed to do a check.
    1. The call/complainant ^
    2. Officer arrive and can see guns or what appear to be weapons on a table(which matches the complaint)

I AM for rights, but I cannot stan More..

    • @marinemp00 question is.. shouldn't the officers know the law as well? and stand for their supposed rights... i don't care much for what the perps said but the piglets were pussies, with their heads down. someone get out a law book!

    • @extisis How do you see it that way? They conducted their search and checked out what they intended to. Pussies? They were by the book and were lawful in their actions. When someone requests a supervisor it's courteous and common practice to wait for the brass to arrive. They know the law and it shows because they went ahead and carried out their duties.

The guy that is going on and on about probable cause(don't need it), thinks he knows something because he watches law and order. The police a More..

    • @marinemp00 for all that legal spiel that the byatch gave them, they had nothing to say and they still could have been courteous. They, or he rather, wanted to do more but he kept silent and couldn't wait to get out of there apparently. Anyway, like i said in a previous post- that same cop and these perps had a previous incident which explains the hostility.

    • @extisis They were and tried telling her why they were there. They even said, once we take a quick look, we'll be on our way. You are looking way to deep into it. If he wanted to continue search he could have, but given the complaint and what there was to look through, there was no need to. I am sure he didn't want to be there because she probably causes shit weekly. He still has to do his due diligence"and check on the compliant.

  • If you are not selling a real weapon then what is the problem here, show the cops and get on with your day. Its arseholes like these who hold up the cops so when you are being mugged, raped or any other crime you cannot get the cops at a good response time.

There's knowing your rights and then there's being an unhelpful cunt.

One day when she's the subject of a home invasion I hope one of her mates is doing the same shit wasting more police time so they can't come to her assistance.

    • @mclane One day, this might or that.

    • @mclane I fully agree. It is assholes like these who stop cops doing their jobs and then it is the same assholes who moan and complain if terrorists get away with something.

I have nothing to hide in my home and my door is wide open for cops to knock at any time.

I hope the cops give this fat cow hell one day!

  • i would have just told them about the Airsoft guns and that there weren't any real firearms to be concerned about.

    • @Amusing You could also say you have firearms for sale. If they like it pay for it and you will mail it or meet them at their favorite FFL. Thats how PPT gun sales work.

  • Aside from anything else, what expectation of privacy do you have if your shit is spread out all over the sidewalk and you're offering it for sale to the general public?

Antagonistic idiots... and no, I don't mean the cops.

  • The lady is the video is not 100% correct or the way this video is portrayed. If he suspects that illegal activity is being conducted that officer can and will come on to the property. They conducted their quick check regardless and even waited for her, so that she could talk to a supervisor.

She is not conducting business inside of her home, she is running a public yard sale. Sorry this video and it's propaganda are a failure.

It also appears that she has contact with them on the regular. I More..

  • the guy explaining it to the cops was respectful & nice,

the girl explaining it to the cops was likely a fat bitchy cunt that needed to shut the fuck up and get back to the kitchen.

  • 70% of law enforcement don't know the law!

  • not sure what state they are in but I can sell firearms to anybody legal to own one in my state. doesn't matter if its at my garage sale or through an ad in the paper.
I'm pro cop and I'm all for them doing their jobs. but, they are "LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS" so they need to know the laws.

    • @machineguneddie it doesn't say but i'm guessing from the cars and uniforms California? Selling a gun is a big huge deal here in this Fascist paradise. You have to transfer it through an FFL holder. The buyer has to undergo the background check and it costs $40-60 at least for all that. Violate that and get caught, both of you will be doing time plus lose your right to own guns FOR LIFE.

    • @Eva_Destruction
gotcha. Cali does have some messed up gun laws.

we still have to go through a background check here, but we can get a card through the sheriffs office that's good for 3 years. and only costs $5.oo

  • Im a lil torn by this, I think she is an utter bitch for reacting like that, but sure she has rights, doesnt mean you need to be a cunt about it, they were just trying to do a job, keep the hood safe... but whatever,.., not my country, but they must have had something to hide,.,. if they didnt she needs a KO for giving cops more reason to be bastards to the next person..
