American Crossroads ‘Endorses’ Biden In New ‘Run, Joe. Run’ Ad

While the likes of Sen. John McCain and his former running mate Sarah Palin have been toying with idea of President Barack Obama replacing Vice President Joe Biden with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton,
others are enjoying the recent gaffe fervor. Namely, American
Crossroads. In a new ad, the Republican-affiliated super PAC chronicles
and mocks some of Biden’s past slipups and controversies — arguing that
Biden should stay on the ticket.

The ad, which has a humorous touch and is entitled “Run, Joe. Run,”
begins by citing the necessity for “disciplined leadership” and “a vice
president Americans can count on.” Then cuts to Biden’s flaps, the first
one being him stating, “a three-letter word. Jobs. J-O-B-S.”

Afterward, of course, the recent “going to put y’all back in chains”
remark makes an appearance, followed by some comments about government
spending and not being able to go to a 7-Eleven or Dunkin Donuts without
a “slight Indian accent” — among a few others.

After the nice walk down memory lane, the ad notes that some have been
saying Biden should go, but “we say Joe should stay.” As the voiceover
declares, “Joe Biden. America’s greatest vice president — when we need
him most,” the text in the ad reads, “Keep running, Joe. Please, keep
running.”
