The carnival is a distraction so the developers can bulldoze all the shanty slums away to make it look pretty for foreigners who'll chance their life to see the world cup and Olympics. I just tried to calculate how many muggings and stabbings there will be, but my computer melted.

Carnaval is big dirty black people party the whole country stop for 5 days while the educaded middle class go to the country side or calm beaches the poor people get drunk and jump for 5 days if you want to enjoy carnaval with beautyfull and nice people buy a bar code id shirt it works like a ticket we call it abada just like the yellow shirt those 2 guys are wearing at very end of the video it can cost you over 500 us dollar for three days it worth much more safer and clean.

hehe, the video focuses on the small areas where this shit has happened (where most tourists WON'T go). out of all the carnaval years, they get a video this short with negative stuff. I bet mardi gras would get a 5 minute compilation at least. Just saying, been to both of them.
