It takes some sounds from Hardcore but @ 1:59 is a good example of the screech that no other style uses. From D-block&S-te-fan, Coone, frontliner to the older sounds of Issac Hardstyle has some of the best producers and some of the widest range of talent that I have seen in the EDM scene and I have been into it since the mid 90's.
