Paul Ryan: 'I Don't Have The Time' To Tell You How We'll Pay For Our Tax Plan

When you can't answer any questions even in a FOX NETWORK interview, you know your campaign is full of lies.

I mean seriously, you 'don't have time' to go through the math even on a basic level but you have PLENTY of time to say a whole lot of nothing? >_>

  • He doesn't have the time to explain how a 20% decrease in revenue will somehow be revenue neutral.
Meanwhile they propose NO CUTS to military spending...
Yet this will all magically work somehow.
Maybe it's the magic mormon underpants?

If you even paid attention to anything other than your next fappin session you would know that they want to close thousands of tax loopholes therby making it revenue neutral.

    • @DOWNPLANE Name one? Oh he wouldnt... That was a gotcha question like when Palin was asked what newspaper she read. SO HARD!!! Jesus, when do you actually admit that they are relying on any vote they can get and are nervous to say what they are shutting down in fear of scaring away voters? All they are goin to do is just say "Obama bad!!! Vote for us!"

    • @DOWNPLANE - But they won't name any loophole except "Obamacare," which is a program and not a loophole at all. Honestly, pal. How can they not have a white paper listing the first hundred loopholes or something like that to make their claim at least slightly believable? It sounds smug, but I'm truly sorry that my Republican brothers and sisters have such a shitty candidate to put forward this year. It is a bad sign and, I swear, I'd prefer to see a a strong but sane GOP participat More..

  • Ryan could speak only in Swahili and I would still vote for Romney/Ryan. Ryan could actually be non-human, like a goat, for example, and I would vote for Romney/Ryan the goat before I voted for Obama.

  • What ya'll forget is that in addition to cutting taxes, they plan on cutting the budget as well. You want to see his plan. Look up the Ryan budget. Alot of it comes from there. He's laid it out. Several times in detail. Sorry that he didn't cover it AGAIN, during the 20 minute interview.

    • @gammyland It was a golden opportunity to lay it all out for the layman.
      If it were REAL.
No need to google it though.
      Here it is: http://budget.house.gov/uploadedfiles/pathtoprosperity2013.pdf

Where are the cuts that will balance out a 20% reduction in revenue????
It pretty much just has a lot of nice sounding rhetoric, promises not to cut the military spending....and that's about it.
To make up for these cuts in revenue, SOMETHING MUST BE CUT!
      20% is a LOT.
Are we eliminating ALL entitlements More..

      Posted Oct-1-2012 By

    • @gammyland ...they will NOT present their plan even in summary on main stream media - that would nuke their already failing campaign.

    • @gammyland
And which part of the budget does Romney/Ryan plan to cut from? If these cuts weren't going to hurt the average American, don't you think they would publicize this every chance they get?

Again I ask, if their plan is so good and solid, why don't they give ANY specifics on it? No details in any interviews and no details on their website.

Does it really make sense to hide your plan from everyone when you're trying to unseat the incumbent?

  • First thing you need to explain is that the government doesn't pay for taxes. This shouldn't need to be said, but our government has been in charge of most people's education for a long time and people really don't have a basic grasp on economics anymore.

Except this isn't passing a bill, this is running for the President of the United States.

Romney/Ryan are claiming THEY are the change this time around yet they won't say SHIT about their plan. Seriously if it was that good and beneficial to most Americans, don't you think they would be EXCITED to let everyone know about their plan and sway the vote to them?

    • @John_Matrix That's the point.
If he says what his plan really is, it will sway the vote AWAY from them.
Better to just be coy, and say "trust me, it will be revenue neutral" even though the only way to make it revenue neutral without screwing everybody would be to cut military spending DRASTICALLY....
Which they have promised not to do.

    • @Eva_Destruction - I guess "most of America" does not participate in any of the polls, 'cause the polls tell a story quite different from the one you want to tell. Worst ever? Please! No president except FDR came into a more challenging situation. He has been far from perfect but "worst president ever?" I think what you mean to say is he is your least favorite president ever. That's a defensible position to take.

  • Ryan is not as clumsy as Palin but Romney is less savvy and more greedy looking than McCain so the equation stays the same: Republicans have less to offer.

The GOP elite barred the honorable, trustworthy, believeable, inspiring Republicans from leadership roles in order to draw in the extremists Tea Baggers and Libertarians. The only way to win real Republicans AND the extremists requires a man of two or more faces thats willing to ignore his own history, his own views and his own passions just More..
