@niltomega As kids, we may not have fully grasped the enormity of the situation.
We'd all done the silly duck and cover shit in school but other than that we knew very little.
Except, We went to bed for a few nights, listening to our parents whispering about the news and the impending horror.
Little did we know about the true extent of that horror nor how close we came to finding out how bad it could have been.
