Memos that Wissam Hassan Received Indicate Who is Behind his Assassination

A recent article in Lebanese al-Akhbar newspaper reveals that Lebanese Maj. Gen. Wissam al-Hassan who was recently assassinated in a car bomb in the Ashrafieh area of Beirut had received information from UAE intelligence and Jordanian officials who met with the Mossad about him being a target of assassination.

The Emirati intelligence official who last met with al-Hassan had provided him with updated information that it was in fact al-Qaeda operating out of a Palestinian refugee camp in South Lebanon who is planning the execution of the assassination.
