Diane Sawyer Hits Gore on Profits From Global Warming

Diane Sawyer conducted a surprisingly tough interview with Al Gore on Tuesday, pressing him on profiting from global warming and whether or not climate change legislation is pointless in light of pollution-spewing countries such as China. She also forced the ex-Vice President to respond to a challenge from Glenn Beck.

  • GMAG Genetically mutated Al Gore. Rip him a new one, and tell him I want the revenues from the blank tape tax back, too.

  • Everyone needs a profit, lucky for him he is making one from ethical decisions. Or at least that's how he wants it to look. His family grew tobacco for profit, or maybe just personal use, I am not sure.

Man is the source of the earths major ills. The computer models of MIT couldn't even predict the rate at which the earth is changing.

go research the water cycle, then go research how much of it we've rendered unusable.
Go research bleached coral reefs and salmon population depletion.

The scientific data is indisputable. With the rise in human population came a rise in pollution and resource depletion.

it's even worse than Al Gore said.

We are a part of a new green revolution. We are going to make free energy and reusable energy profitable.

It will create jobs, especially here in California.

    Regardless.

    Peace to you.

Unfortunately if it's not profitable it is not sustainable in a capitalistic paradigm.
AS an Anarchist, I debated this hard in NAtural Resource MAnagement class. I don't agree. but It's true.

  • Quote Obama: the dubious "global warming" issue involves "NATIONAL SECURITY!" ...? More veiled hot air, which to anyone with a mind, calls the entire thing into question.

Believing that man is having an adverse effect on the environment is one thing.

Believing that as so long as we give politicians an endless money supply and complete control over the distribution of the worlds natural resources that in doing so they somehow will be able to regulate the temperture of the planet is another fairy tail altogether.

  • i like how he also has a picure of a eastern pacific hurricane on the cover of his book, like it is something supposed to be shocking.
i wonder if he mentioned that that particular hurricane was formed during an el nino year in which warm water from the western pacific is upwelled along the american coasts. a completely natuaral occurance.
