I drove across Michigan last fall and I saw at least 20 deer carcasses on the side of the road. It seems like a huge waste not to harvest these animals. When a large animal is killed on the road in Canada, the cops call folks that harvest the meat. That cleans up the road and the good meat is not wasted. It is NOT however sold to the public.

Some folks dont get it and I think Megadeath is one of them. I prsonally have never taken home a road kill since I typically get enough venison during hunting season to last me for a year, however if I hit a deer with my vehicle and killed it,I'd have no problem salvaging the meat from it. Well, provided it was relatively cool outside.

@Nepean109 A good job by the northern team. In Tennessee we can take home an animal we hit, but in Oregon and California, we had to leave it rot and be picked up by CDOT and dumped in a hollow below Truckee. tons of wasting meat and stinking carcasses being collected by bigpay state people while people in the same state are eating alpo.

@Nepean109 - that's fucked up. Anybody that eats something laying on the road is one sick fuck imo.
I can see if you hit it yourself and you know it's absolutely 100% fresh, but...

Where I from, there was a chinese manapua man selling manapuas all over the neighbor hood. Comming to find out, he was butchuring stray cats from the streets and selling it to people. The health inspectors found out about it and had him arrested.

My little brother and his friend caught an eel once, years ago he would have been about 10, and they decided to kick the thing about 2 kilometers into town along the sidewalk, and left it on the footpath outside a chinese restaurant... then apparently the owner came out, scooped it up and took it into the kitchen area...
