The Opium growers of Sinai
Little Afghanistan right at Israel's doorstep. The poor beduins probably don't have too many options except poppies to earn a decent income. Although I would disagree with their way of spending the profit..

Mmm poppies. I would work there for bread, water, and opium. Forever.

Good footage. I would like to see their cannabis fields and have a documentary on that as well

Soon as I get my hands on some footage it'll be up. But its not the emerald triangle - the military regularly seizes fields out in the Sinai. Large parts are however lawless and the beduins free to grow what they want...

Actually, Moroccan hash is considered the best in Egypt, then Lebanese. Domestic production is usually just weed - or 'bango' as they say, but some hash is also produced, of course!

Nah man, huge amounts are being smuggled through the more or less lawless Sahara desert, tons are beings seized regularly by Algerian military for ex.. Consumtion and demand is probably higher in the Middle East than in Europe

If it's bitter that means it's good.
I had to choke down peyote tea once. Not easy but well worth it.

Morsi should have all their heads cut off, because they are drug producers, sellers, and users.

These guys say they have no option to grow this stuff,,,for the production of Heroin that generates huge amounts of money all sold in the west that makes huge problems socially and money that comes back into the country that mostly ends up buying weapons?...O.K,,,keep growing it then, we dont want to see you end up starving now would we.

@Blackwolfhunting
Its mostly for the local opium market in Egypt - not heroin. But I guess the possibility is there... money talks
