KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A former Knoxville police officer pleaded guilty Friday to attempted sexual exploitation of a minor and providing alcohol to two minors.




Nicky Ray Bryant received three years of probation for the incidents which happened in 2009. However, he is scheduled to be back in court on Aug 31 to fight for judicial diversion instead.

Bryant and another former officer, Donald Scott Clark, were indicted in April 2010.

The indictment said Bryant had more than 100 images of child porn. Investigators with the Knox County Sheriff's Office said they found the images in a search of Bryant's home on Blaine Lane.

Both men resigned from the police department in July 2009 after the accusations against them were revealed in court documents.
