No no no, in 1979 President Jimmy Carter, what is now known as the "Carter Doctrine", gave the Mujahedeen 3-4 billion dollars to fight the Soviets in Afghanistan.
He banned us from selling them, the Russians, wheat and didn’t let our athletes participate in the 1980 Olympics in Moscow.
