i don't think that's a rear ender but rather his own jeep that he's towing behind.

Since that motorhome is a "pusher" as the engine is in the rear, and many people tow vehicles like that Jeep behind their RV's (since they have transfer cases they can shift into neutral), my guess is there was some sort of failure in the engine compartment on the RV and it caught it and the Jeep it was towing on fire.

It was not rear-ended. The motor home was towing the SUV behind it. The MH's engine probably caught fire. Most likely a fuel leak.
