Very Cool Dog story - (Damn dusty keyboard)

Twincities.com
– ‘This (is) 19-year-old (Schoep) being cradled in his father’s arms
last night in Lake Superior. (Schoep) falls asleep every night when he
is carried into the lake. The buoyancy of the water soothes his
arthritic bones. Lake Superior is very warm right now, so the temp of
the water is perfect. I was so happy I got to capture this moment for
John. By the way, John rescued Shoep as an 8 month old puppy, and he’s
been by his side through many adventures .’
“In this photo, people have said they see everything from pure
love to hope for the world. They see peace, kindness, the relationship
between man and dog. ”I know this is not about me — it’s about a guy
who loves his dog — but I am in complete awe that my photo has had such
an impact.”

I literally can’t look at this picture without crying. Like I can’t
do it. I read the story and I cried. I did something else for an
hour and then looked at it again and cried. I pretended the dude was
Jesus Quintana and I still cried. Bottomline is that if you have a dog
or ever had a dog this will make you cry. It just sums up everything
you need to know about the relationship between humans and dogs in one
perfect photo. It’s beyond words.

Yea, it's been crazy ass hot here, not to mention a bad ass drought. In the beginning of April, we were already in mid to upper 80s and it hasn't let up. It's just finally starting to let up a bit here!! It's been nasty, and I work outside so it's been extra nasty

I was just in Idaho, at the snake river fishing. Louis, Idaho, and across the river was Clark Washington.....beatiful area, and great fishing!

  • Once in a lifetime, if you are lucky enough, you share your life with a GREAT dog.
The kind that can read your thoughts and whose steady stare, can reach in and touch your soul.
Rest in peace, dear Mattie girl.
She was a pound puppy ~ half boxer, half lab ~ who lived an awesome long life here on the lake, who helped raise our babies, had superb poisonous snake radar, carried messages tied to her collar during heavy ice and snows and protected us all...along with her territory from the evils of More..

  • The message is simple but life-altering. If you have ever owned an animal you had this close of a relationship with - you have looked onto the eyes of whomever and whatever force created who we are and why we are here. The one question we all carry around inside of us. Look into the eyes of your beloved pet and see the REAL ANSWER. This special animal of yours will help you find the answer. With the gentle nudge of his nose or the moan in his throat, his laying at your flag-draped coffin or More..
