    • @Hiarken Most people aren't taught that and never think about it until it's right in front of them. Someone called the cops/EMS and you can see people looking at him and the people that got on the bus telling the driver about it and trying to figure out what they should do. Most people simply don't know what to do in an abnormal situation like that.

    also - its a socialogical condition where people in largly populated areas think "I wont help him because the next guy will - someone will"

    more common in 3rd world countries

      You are so right, if the guy is dead, he'll still be dead later.

      I think another reason people often don't stop to help, but call the police is the rule of unintended consequences, or as i like to call it "no good deed goes unpunished." Not that this is the case all of the time, but it happens a lot.
