America’s shame

Why does Israel have a right to exist, but Palestine doesn’t?

This is the question of our time.

For 60 years Israelis have been stealing Palestine from Palestinians. There are maps available on the Internet and in Israeli publications showing the shrinkage over time of what was once Palestine into what Palestine is today — a small number of unconnected ghettos or bantustans.

Palestine More..

  • Who said Palestine has no right to exist? Everyone but Hamas has signed on to the "two state" process.

Yes, and what you find when you look at those maps is that Israel was tiny in 1947.

The Arabs rejected the U.N.'s proposal for creating separate Jewish and Palestinian States, resulting in war....which the Jews won...and Israel grew.

The Arab States attacked Israel in 1967...and lost spectacularly, resulting in Israel growing again. The Eqyptians were lucky to get the Sinai Peninsula back after 12 years.

If you look at the timeline, it is Arab blunders that have cause Israel to grow dramatically...not settlement creep.

I'm not really pro-israel. I don't car about them any more than any other country....but this is a crock of shit.

the PLO was all about a two state solution,
but what did israel do about it?
    they created hamas.

then we forced a free election in the area and what happened?
hamas was elected by the people.

but since israel didnt want that to happen they have to kill them, right?

Exactly. I believe Israel would be content to go about their business and live with a Palestinian state if they could just be left alone.

if it is not about settlement, what would you call the arab rejection of the UN propsal and subsequent war and israeli territorial expansions?

Exactly. The problem is NOT that Hamas won an election, it's that Hamas has as it's aim pushing Israel into the sea.

no kidding, many in the USA supported the Pals over Israel until the late 60's and the 70's. That's when the arab nations attacked Israel and the Pals decided to start hijacking airplanes, killing athletes at the Olympics and Pal terrorism.
Even today most americans want the Pals to have a state, we just gave up on them due to their terrorist tactics and their continued denial of Israels right to exist.
The problem with the Pals is entirely of their own making...
