  • Su-fucking-perb

A couple of private guards with automatic rifles = $m's of dollars saved and making a proper job of putting an end to the activities of these worthless parasites ... not like warships capturing and releasing them.

I hope the scummy "pirates" took hits and die slow agonising deaths.

    So sayeth an ex-merchant mariner.

    • @dmorgan0628 sounds good until it all fucks up. i hate the ocean. water, water everywhere, but not a drop to drink. i hate the desert, too.

but i do wonder what the pay rate is. in my bwak life (before wife and kids), i'd have done it for the geek, but i made it to the grey-hair/PTA/suburban soccer-coach life, and i like that.

  • This is either Trident (www.gotridentgroup.com) or Nexus (www.ncga.us), both US firms. Both use helmet cam's and ex-SEAL's and US spec ops.

  • looks like it worked. it'd be good to see a longer version. i heard (unconfirmed) that some shipping companies have been hiring retired Ghurkas for a few years to protect their boats. these guys sound American. good control, but i bet they'd prefer a few more sandbags to the wood pallettes.

    • @acehardware: Shame we can’t still do some things old school, we had a noose ready for horse thieves and pirates back in the day.

  • One of the better vids I've seen lately...that's how it's done. .50 cal wouldn't hurt, though.

  • Short shots. Military or ex military or well trained.

Wonder why these ships can't deploy some 'blade' or shaped metal part that lowers into the water at the front of the ship that would cause a massive amount of turbulant wake all along the side of the ship?
