The big Pharma's will not allow any drug on the market that doesn't generate huge profits and cause more diseases and maladies that require medical attention. Just listen to the "side-effects" on any commercial to see what I mean.

If it costs big pharma $100 million on average to introduce a drug, seems to me the problem isn't with pharma but more with govt. regulations, bureaucracy and lawyers that require them to spend that kind of money. Fuck, just look at all the tv lawyers telling people to use their services to join class action lawsuits against drug companies. "Call 1-800-Bad Drug"
