"Federal agents, in a move that could have an impact on the presidential race, raided the Indiana office of the issuer of a private currency known as the Liberty Dollar — and seized tens of thousands of coins bearing the likeness of a presidential candidate, R
More..ep. Ron Paul."

To put this into perspective, these coins (liberty dollars) have been around for quite a while. They aren't legal tender, they are collectors items or for investment. Yet, the Feds decided to raid and seize the coins once Ron Paul's image was engraved on them.
Its a political move by corrupt Feds to attack Ron Paul and to attack anyone who doesn't support the phony FED currency which has no real value.
Time to speak up and get the message out. The Feds have gone after these guys, it will be YOU next! Less..

Where can one buy these coins?

The purpose and intent behind these coins is (however jokingly it may be) to disrupt the Federal currency system by either providing an "alternative" currency as a protest or to in some way confuse matters. As with forgeries this cannot be tolerated, a nation has a right to protect its own assets and currency.
If you want to keep gold or silver then keep it in block/bar form or coins with no obvious competitive design to the official currency of the land.
The sovereignty of the United States Government clearly authorizes the Federal Government to protect its currency system from interference and meddling.
Congress may coin money, regulate the value of American or foreign currency and punish counterfeiters.
