  • Let them take control, and let us get the fuck out of there. I'm tired of seeing our boys die for a country that doesn't even like us!

"I'm tired of seeing our boys die for a country that doesn't even like us" ,if only your dumbass military leaders had thought of that before they decided to nation build Afghanistan.

  • Blocking comments is standard operating procedure for cowards who lack the intelligence and/or arguments to defend their views. I have no respect for these losers who hide behind their Mother`s backs.

  • The minute ISAF troops leave, Afghanistan is fucked. The ANA has the heart, but not the training or the experience. I've trained ANA guys, and they were NOT ready, in my opinion.

You're basically throwing fresh troops into an insurgency -- which is one of the most difficult types of war.

    • @jum_runky The picture is much bigger than how you seem to paint it. I suggest you study more about the ANA forces. They've got a trained air force with brand new US-made equipment, you know? That is what brings in massive overpowering and advantage, not low-end new grunts just being trained.

: " I suggest you study more about the ANA forces."
I've personally trained ANA forces Mr. Expert. What is your experience? Have you talked with them and trained them face to face in Afghanistan? I have, but what would I know?

Air forces don't help much when you're fighting people who look identical to everyone else. It's an insurgency. You can't just carpet bomb everything and make it go away. Coalition forces couldn't win the war. You think roughly trained ANA so More..

    • @qwerty4242 I am fucking done paying for this shit and watching my friends get blown apart so the opium trade can flourish once again.

    • @jum_runky I understand what you're saying and wasnt trying to be a smartass... just think many do not see the capabilities of the smarter part of the ANA. They seem much better than most of these videos show, and will be underestimated I bet. I am sure we will see good ANAvsTaliban video here come 2014-2015.

I'm not trying to pull a heavy, here, but I definitely do have experience and first hand knowledge of the ANA.

The ANA's major problem is a lack of experience combined with the difficulty or the war they're trying to fight. Insurgencies are difficult for even the most hardened militaries. Throwing what are essentially green troops into such a war is a recipe for disaster.

The ANA have some damn good soldiers with a lot of heart, but nothing beats experience.

  • I think the war is just a testing ground for how to pit one faction against another and to see how well the latest technological toys perform.

  • I can see where this is headed. When ISAF leaves watch the security forces first wither then melt away as they did in Vietnam where the US Govt. was forced to withdraw when its position became untenable. It isn't really their fault. They won't have a choice in the matter. Truth is, things are not going well. Our politicians fucked the military good and plenty sending them into Afghanistan. The war is costing billions of dollars a week. Meanwhile, our schools and roads are falling apart. More..

  • Taliban should just get their own part of the Afghanistan country, and give it to them for their own country (Talibanistan)... they can take a small piece of the mountains next to pakistan, since they are the guys whom are helping them with weapons, fighters, and money against NATO.

Then everyone is happy, right? No people fighting and everyone who likes one part can go to talibanistan, and the real civilian afghans can stay in their own country like it is now, with the NATO help and such that More..

    • @qwerty4242 the british did this about a century ago...

gave the region NWFP of pakistan to the tribal fkers and left afghanistan to the afghans.

    • the British gave them a chance to be a civillised nation and brought them into a 20th century Afghanistan in the 1910s and even brought in a new westernised afghan king. but eventually the revolted and went back to the 11th century. which is exactly whats going to happen again. we need to leave them alone and let them kill each other.

    • @420pm afghanistan was a mighty empire and had a dominant influence in the region before the british brought in sell out kings and traiters into power 2 centuries ago. AND idk wtf you on about, it was super rich and produced many great minds and conquerors.

    • @tjobtj0btj0b yes im not saying it didnt, what im saying is, when the west was in the 20th century Afghanistan was still in the 12th century in terms or technology and ideals, despite being "rich" by middle eastern standards.

    • @420pm it was super rich by world stndards then AND NOW, it has a vrgin economy full of natural resources..

back then britain and most of europe was out looting the world..

hence why there are around 20ish common wealth countries.

  • You can see how futile this war is, it's simply unwinnable and that means it's perfect for the military industrial complex, so far 11 years of massive profits and probably a few more before it all ends (by which time the US will most likely have started other wars).
