Man tries to avoid police by jumping tree to tree
Sheriff's deputies were trying to catch a man who fled into the woods after allegedly trying to break into a house last week.
The sheriff says the man, who was apparently high
on meth, climbed a tree, then started jumping from tree-to-tree to avoid
being caught. Deputies got a chainsaw, and started cutting trees down
ahead of him, so he eventually had nowhere to go.
