I have still my old 240z (Bright Burgundy)that I drove in high school.
It has been in a barn on my farm since about 95 or something.
I built the crap out of a L28 and also added two Webbers, headers, pos track, and a 5 speed. Ground effects, spoilers, the works.
Now it is starting to look terrible and it is just sitting there rotting I guess, but I do not have the heart to sell it.

I has a '79 280ZX for a long time. The last eight years of it's life it had a small block chevy good for about 350hp. Fun car, but rust does them in eventually!
Looks like about a 67 240 Z. Looks good. Wonder how it takes all that power. Neat installation though. Not covered by smog laws in California since its pre-71. I've heard of that conversion; havent seen one til this vid.

First generations Z's were '71 to '78. The smog exemption is for '75 and older.
HEY!!! My friend knows the guy that owns that car! Thats on pleasant hill road in PleasantHill, CA. My friend has a white 240Z with a 350 in it. Scariest car ive ever been in. cant turn for shit though.
Nice HP addition, but no stability to control all of that torque. Maybe a rear-end with a locker differential? maybe stabilizer bars? Maybe wider rear tires?

I think a bit of work needs to be done on the power-to-ground transfer.

If one could keep that car on the road it would be so ff-ing sweet. I have always wanted to put a 350 in to a MGB-GT myself

Why??? It's a 30 year old car that probably needs work on rust prevention...
