Cop pulls gun on motorcyclist.

Respect my gun!! Seems he needs a gun to avoid a pursuit, i wouldn't chase him on the freeway with that motorcycle. Unless i had a fast motorcycle, gun, meth and an american self esteem.

  • Cop is lucky he didn't get shot himself. Looks like straight up robbery up to the moment he finally decided to identify himself.

  • cops lucky he didnt get shot , rollin up in an unmarked car pulling guns out.. . a concerned citizen might have blown his brains out, thinkin he was robbin the dude. at least i would if i had the opportunity like this , only get 1 chance like that.

  • Clearly the cop was in the wrong for how he conducted himself.

The motorcyclist probably sped, go figure. But pulling a gun for one is a massive escalation of the situation, having no visible badge or uniform, no lights in his car, hell if I were carrying on that motorcycle that cop would have been shot and I'd have the video to prove that I was defending myself legally.

    • @EmrysM

The the biker definitely would have been proven in the right -- posthumously.

    • @EmrysM rhis is a year or two old. i dont remember if the cop got into trouble, but the bike rider was arrested later for recording the cop. they caught him because he posted it to youtube.

    • @joe prole "well, If I were in the position of that motorcyclist i'd quickly take off my gloves and pull out my nine from my stiff leather motorcycle suit and bust a cap in that pigs ass, excersise my right to act like a complete and utter retard escalating that whole situation for the sake of pitching a bitch later on in court about my rights and how pigs abuse their authority" ROFL!

Of course, only a STUPID fuck would pull a gun on a trained state officer in a situation like that, n More..

    • @Leaker89 There was no way to know that was "a trained officer".
Not saying I'd immediately draw a gun on a guy who has the upper hand, but the first thing I'd be thinking when I saw a gun is how best to neutralize the threat.

  • OK...
The "cop" didn't see the helmet cam at first.
Is this guy a real cop?

Do all cops work for free when not on the clock. That makes them scabs? I don't walk into your house and start repairing your air conditioner after hours.

  • what a drama queen. These kind of cops need to go. The worst part is they came and arrested him and raided his house and stole his computers for posting this on line. The epitome of police state

    • @stinkbuttdog - it really comes down to a local level. The cops started to go rouge around here a few years back and people got together and started a recall election drive and well since then the police have been acting in a far more professional level

    • @stinkbuttdog Totally agree. There's too many apathetic morons in this country with the attitude of "I don't have anything to hide." It's that type of complacency that has assholes like the guy in the video stepping way beyond his bounds, and government camera popping up all over. Next thing you know they'll be flying drones on US soil to spy on people, searches with no warrant, wiretapping, oh wait... they already do all of that.

  • Bad practice to pull a gun first, before showing police ID. You never know how someone will react to a plainclothes person pulling a firearm on them rather than an identified police officer.

The whole traffic stop looked pretty half-assed and unprofessional to me. Until I see police ID, you're just some guy pulling a gun on me, claiming to be a cop.

    • @ericredbeard So true. Any bozo can sound all official and pull out a gun proclaiming themselves to be "state police." That guy can get himself killed by an armed, law abiding citizen. Sad thing is, the law abiding citizen becomes an instant criminal because of an idiot gung ho cop. I probably would shoot that "cop" if he did not ID himself first (with a badge that he is require to carry on him at all times). I don't like unidentified people pulling guns on me. My prime direc More..

  • Not much evidence in the film that the bloke was state police - a badge would have done just fine - a gun is not an identity - but I guess I wouldn't argue.

  • This happened several years ago and was a big fuss about the recording of police officers. The state threaten to fine him big time but the case was thrown out I think. here is a good article on the incident.

  • That was one hell of an escalation of force there. What a sad, scared little man.

  • I would have shot that motherfucker dead as soon as he stepped out of that vehicle....and whatever state police he works for needs to fire his ass for being a total stupid dick head. He brandished his weapon without uniform/badge/ID/marked vehicle, or informing anyone who he was, those 3 seconds could have cost his stupid ass his life and the tax payers millions in a bullshit trial for capitol murder and to pay to stick that dick sucking idiot in the ground.

    • @splicer i would have thought he was some cocksucker want to road rage, and launched my bike right into him as he opened the door.

  • Fkn cops love to show power, bet he has a small c o ck

    Posted Mar-12-2012 By

  • It doesn't show the whole thing, the guy pulled a wheelie next to the cop car and the guy was going well over the limit, supposedly the cop was trying to pull him over so hence when he did finally stop the cop drew the gun. But from the origional video you can't hear sirens or see a light so the biker probably didn't notice. But going out of the car without a badge showing only a gun pretty unproffessional.
