@Blackdawn Good point. So much genocide, rape and pillaging in that continent, yet people lack the basic organizational skills needed to take care of themselves.

@Baron_Kaz Its really sad because they were so use to the europeans making all the decisions, and when they left its like they didnt learn a single thing from them.

Hopefully these efforts will also put a dent in piracy around the horn of Africa. Perhaps they should, or maybe they already have focused their efforts on the coastal cities around the Gulf of Aden. Piracy help support war. Doesn't it?

Good luck AU. I have some money invested in oil exploration companies in Puntland/Somalia and will be following the devolpement closely. Big risk, but potentially a hundredfold return.

Think about this: if we never sold arms and tanks to Africans and Arabs, there would be no war.
Its not that they can "Make" it!

@LostSomewhereInSpace where already doing that and providing them with constant satellite imagery - don't forget the large amount of US/Allied warships patrolling just of this coast. Plenty of CIA/NSA aboard those ships. Also many of these Kenyan troops and almost all the officers were trained at Fort Bragg US or Sandhurst UK.

What kind of tank was that at 1:43? I'd say T-72 but the turret doesn't look like a T-72.

The ONY WINNABLE WAR it's a war between 2 armies!!!.....but fighting against people is always a risky business, it's difficult, slow & stressful. Look @ the US war on terror their being in Afghanistan more than the Russian & up 2 now, they have no solution & they running out of ideas & options.
