  • Wow...that was a close call. All because of a stinking dog? Pah-leeze...firefighters should not risking their lives or safety over a house pet. Sorry, but the animal does rank high enough, in my opinion.

  • The Earl is right, always hold the door in the open position. I add don't remove your SBCA mask to try to coax a dog out, or risk your life for anything other than a human victim. My daughter is not growing up with me dead because of some pet, that's crazy. I'll risk it all for you and your family, but you can buy a new dog.

  • Some mistakes were made, one of them is they seemed to have entered the building without an armed hose.

I think the only mistake they made was to enter the building to save a dog...sorry but a dog can be replaced...a father or husband etc, can't.

  • Where to start, there were so many things wrong with this video clip. When you continue to fight fire without reguard for safety, it WILL catch up to you. Every person in this video, at one point or another, severly violated safety practices in the fire service.

  • listen we still gotta save the house its not like it was fully involed, just alittle smoke showing maybe vertical venting woulda helped but and they did have a charged hose line going in there as you can see it going threw the garage and its not there fault the grage shut maybe there was a short circut because of the heat and caused the door to close.
