On February 22, 2011, animal activists protested Carlton Pools in
Warminster, Pennsylvania, to draw attention to the activities of Carlton
Pools owner Joseph Solana, Jr.
Solana participates in live
pigeon shoots, an activity in which live pigeons are tossed into the air
or releaed from boxes and shot. Many of the victims are hit but not killed. Many of those
survivors are left to die slow, lingering deaths.
Solana also owns a canned hunting resort called Wing Pointe, where he hosts live pigeon shoots.
gunman in this video, Carlton Pools Operations Manager Robert Olsen,
used his vehicle as a weapon of intimidation earlier in the day. After
the protest, he returned with two accomplices.
victims decided to video document his license plate, so he could be
turned in to the Warminster Township Police. They did not realize that
the police would protect a man who assault a woman, and pull a gun on a
public street in broad daylight.
Incredibly, Robert Olsen only received two minor citations for his
behavior. Even more incredible, Ms. Enoch received as many citations as
did the gunman Olsen.
