However, don't just blame the Chinese. They produce cheap what we ask for and what we actually BUY. How many of us pay 100PLUS bucks for a good tool like that?! Hardly any. And if we do, we buy ten other things we "need" so much from the cheap stock..

I got a toolbox as a present once and it was cheap, generic shit, all made of low-quality metal and plastic which still smells awful up to this day. And the screw drivers in there broke very easily, too.
I wouldn't hesitate to buy a good handmade tool, because everything else is just wasted money with "best-before" written all over it ...
